INTRODUCING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BC AIR CADETS:
The Air Cadet Foundation of British Columbia (Foundation) was established to support and promote the educational activities and programs of The Air Cadet League of Canada within the province of British Columbia. The goal of the Foundation is to raise funds to allow the Foundation to meet the above objective.
The Board of Directors of the Foundation are pleased to provide an exciting program for the benefit of BC Air Cadets. A Scholarship Program has been established which will be available to BC Air Cadets who wish to pursue a career in the Aviation Industry.
Scholarship applications open on March 17th and close on June 15th at midnight.
The Foundation recognizes the existence of financial pressures faced by many Cadets in achieving their goals and is dedicated to assist them as much as possible in attaining their dreams. To this end, the Foundation is pleased to announce it will be providing individual scholarships ranging from $3,500 to $7,500 for the ensuing year.
Every year at this time young men and women are graduating from High School and concurrently nearing the end of their Air Cadet careers. It is also a time when they are contemplating their futures and investigating potential career paths. Many are looking toward the aviation industry as a preferred career choice.

There is a serious shortage of qualified personnel to fill the numerous positions within the Airline industry. We encourage all BC Air Cadets to consider the many career opportunities available, as well as applying for a Foundation Scholarship, when planning their future goals and ambitions.
