Submitting Historical Material
Photographs
Historic photographs are a valuable resource to showcase your Squadron’s history. Please consider which photographs would be best suited for the ACFBC Feature Squadron presentations. It is generally preferred that photographs be provided in the following format: High-definition (1080p) or higher colour JPG images; Slightly lower resolution (720p) for black and white JPG images may be suitable; Landscape mode (sideways); and Photographs should be dated.
Providing names is optional as this may require individual permissions based on today’s AC regulations. Group pictures showing the Squadron’s community involvement is preferred over pictures of individuals unless there is a story to go along with the individual.
Documents
Have you recently discovered interesting and exciting historical facts about your Squadron? It’s never too late to submit a document to the Air Cadet Foundation of BC with this new information. We’re always looking for more historic details about British Columbia Air Cadet Squadrons.
Tables of the Squadron`s COs and SSC Chairs etc. can be loaded onto the formatted USB Jump drives that were provided to each Squadron by Mr. Mike Symons; the BCPC Historian. Once loaded, this information should be copied and sent to the BCPC office. The retained copy should be kept at the Squadron and updated as personnel changes occur.
Documents and tables may be submitted via Cloud Storage links using the email form below.
