The Air Cadet Foundation of British Columbia (ACFBC) believes that with our assistance and support, a financial future of the Air Cadet Program in British Columbia can be secured.
We accept members who share our commitments to and belief in our mission and values and are willing to be a part of securing and supporting the future of the Air Cadet Program in BC. As part of becoming a member, you are expected to be available to volunteer subject to the needs of the ACFBC.
The purposes of the ACFBC are:
- To support and promote the educational activities and programs of The Air Cadet League of Canada – La Ligue des Cadets de l’Air du Canada, within the province of British Columbia,
- To receive donations, bequests, trust, funds and property,
- to hold, invest, administer and distribute funds and property for the purpose of the Society as presently set out under the provisions of the Income Tax Act and
- for such other purposes and activities which are authorized for registered charities under the provisions of the Income Tax Act.
The ACFBC Directors meet virtually as needed during the year to exchange ideas and to conduct the business of the foundation and with the membership once per year at the Annual General Meeting. If specifically requested, in-person meetings are scheduled. Members do not incur membership fees.
